Mid-Century Side Table Restoration

This elegant side table has been in our family for over 50 years, and its age was certainly showing. It had become worn and weathered, with scratches and dents that told the stories of generations past. Given its significance, we embarked on a very personal project to restore it and bring back its original beauty. Throughout the restoration process, we carefully considered each step, aiming to preserve its unique character while also revitalizing its appearance. One of the key elements we focused on was the handle. Though it had suffered damage over the years, we made the deliberate choice to repair it without altering its original design. By doing so, we allowed the handle to retain its history and continued to honor the journey this side table had taken with our family.

Now, after meticulous restoration efforts, this side table stands proudly in our home once again, a symbol of cherished memories and a testament to the craftsmanship that has withstood the test of time.
